Hello everyone, hope you have all had a great summer! I know lots of you have been taking the chance to visit fairs and sales in the UK as well as those of you who have sought out those interesting places abroad to feed your Antiquing habit. In France this summer I heard a few British voices at the brocantes I went to, all enjoying the chase, haggling over prices and then wondering how the heck the were going to get that rather large armoire back to the UK!

For those of you who can make it to Queens Park Day (in North West London this Sunday 14th September from noon) you will be able to see what I managed to squeeze into the car next to a very patient spaniel. Lorna and I should be in our usual spot near the bandstand, but if you can’t find us look out for our white gazebo and our chequerboard flooring. We will have our usual mix of painted furniture, linens, paintings, china, lots of sweet childrens’ things, quilts and textiles
