August

August is a quiet month for fairs for us as we are busy buying for a number coming up in the autumn. First up in London are Kensal Flea on Saturday 15th and then Queens Park Day on Sunday 15th September.

Then we’re off to the wonderful Vintage and Handmade Textile Fair at Chipping Sodbury on Saturday 29th September which is always worth a trip. There are always some great stands there, I particulary love Donna Flower’s vintage fabrics, she always has such a wonderful stand there www.donnaflower.com 

I’ll post some photos soon to let you have a flavour of the stock we will be taking to our fairs, but in the meantime here’s an adorable watercolour by the illustrator Phyllis Purser. It is so sweet I don’t think I am going to be able to part with it.
